Operations and Sales Analyst

Mikkeller Brewing San Diego is seeking a Sales and Operations Analyst to join our team. We are seeking an individual that is analytical, organized, and can help provide insights and consistency across our revenue channels. Duties for the sales and operations analyst will include maintaining our CRM and sales support system, ensuring proper federal compliance filings for products, ensure pricing is consistent throughout wholesale and retail channels, analyzing datasets for trend analysis, and being the primary communication conduit between operations and revenue channels. Your analytical skills coupled with your ability to coordinate between multiple departments will be crucial in driving customer engagement, ensuring consistency in our pricing strategy, and provide usable and up to date systems for our team members.

What You Will Do:

This position will directly to the General Manager and work closely with the US Head of Sales. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Compile and analyze data over time to forecast sales trends
  • Communicate with operations, sales, retail, and management frequently
  • Review past sales data to determine trends in productivity
  • Coordinate established pricing in wholesale and retail zones across all company platforms
  • Evaluate third-party data to determine best practices for company success
  • Present actionable information and insights to team members and management
  • Manage our CRM system and keep all other systems up to date with current costing and sales prices
  • Prepare, as needed, all new NIF forms for distribution partners
  • Ensure accuracy in reporting that all items sold meets proper established operations protocols
  • All other duties as assigned by management

Skills and Experience Needed for this Position:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in finance marketing, or business
  • 2+ years’ experience in analyzing complex datasets
  • 2+ years’ working with CRM and ERP systems
  • 2+ years’ experience in pricing management
  • 2+ years’ administrative or finance experience working with a CPG brand
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communications and data analytic skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team dynamic

MKSD Brewery Sales Rep (San Diego)

Mikkeller Brewing is seeking a Brewery Sales Representative who will have the responsibility of  growing and promoting the business. This position will be based in the San Diego area and report directly to the Southern California Sales Manager.

What You Will Do:

• Ensure the implementation of all sales and marketing programs for the entire portfolio  (Including Import Portfolio) 

• Motivate distributor sales force to achieve sales objectives 

• Focus on selling products and/or upgrading number of product lines across distribution  channels 

• Identify target accounts with high affinity to the Mikkeller portfolio 

• Conduct wait-staff / bartender educations, beer tastings and beer dinners 

• Ensure merchandising standards are upheld on and off – premise 

• Plan and execute on-premise promotions as permitted (note: evenings; weekend  festivals) 

• Develop and maintain close relationships with key accounts both on and off premise. 

• Work with local distributors to increase brand awareness and consumption

• Be responsible for the allocation and use of point-of-sale materials 

• Collect data (e.g. pricing, distribution) as required 

• Travel and Driving Is expected 

• Perform all other duties as assigned

 

 

Skills and Experience Needed for this Position:

• One to two years malt beverage experience, preferably with at least one year at a wine  or beer distributor 

• Bachelor’s degree preferred 

• Ability to interface with various levels of management, at wholesale as well as retail • Self-motivation and ability to work with limited amount of direction; ability to work both  independently and within a team to accomplish goals 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to speak in front of large groups,  conduct trainings/promotions 

• Strong work ethic; demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple • responsibilities

Director of Retail

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • This position will be a senior member of the leadership team and report directly to the General Manager. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Directing retail strategy and planning
  • Preparing operational plans for each revenue division
  • Preparing retail reports and make recommendations to management on strategic direction for retail
  •  Scout new locations for retail when needed
  •  Develop pro forma P&Ls and case analysis for different retail scenarios
  •  Oversee, create, and revise all internal SOPs to ensure operational excellence at all locations
  •  Coordinate marketing efforts with each retail locations and the marketing team in San Diego
  •  Train all location level managers and supervisors
  • Maximize the profitability in each retail zone by adhering to prescribed KPIs
  • Create, plan, and implement new revenue generating activities and programs within each retail unit
  • Oversee the growth and management of all Mikkeller clubs in the US
  • Train and develop all retail personnel
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years’ retail management experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in multi-unit management experience
  • 2+ in managing clubs or customer loyalty programs preferred
  • 2+ years working in a multichannel revenue structure
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communications and data analytic skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team dynamic

Education and/or Experience:

  • A minimum of 2-year experience in customer service and hospitality

General Manager (San Francisco)

Mikkeller Brewing San Diego is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to join our team. We are seeking an experienced restaurant general manager with strong communication and people skills to drive our organization’s brand reach and provide consumers the Mikkeller experience. Duties for the restaurant general manager will include interviewing and managing all staff, training and developing both the front of house and back of house personnel, maximize overall operational efficiency in food production and food service, maintain a high level of cleanliness standards, maintain the restaurant facility, ensure compliance for all personnel, processes, and equipment, construct and execute an annual budget for the restaurant, and engage in marketing related activities to promote the overall business.

● Interviewing, hiring, and training staff

● Work collaboratively with the Chef to create seasonal appropriate menus

● Supervise team to maintain a clean, friendly, and welcoming environment for all customers

● Supervise monthly inventory and cycle counts in the restaurants

● Meet or exceed predetermined monthly sales and profitability goals

● Ensure scheduling is completed weekly to meet business needs

● Assist in any capacity, that is deemed necessary

● Verify accuracy, review, and submit cash and payroll reports

● Supervise, propose, coordinate, and execute special events

● Create and monitor social media posts for the location

● Assist upper management in project proposals and business cases

Skills and Experience Needed for this Position:

 

● 2+ years’ experience as a unit leader or GM of a full-service restaurant

● 4+ years’ experience as kitchen manager and/or AGM/FOH Manager

● 2+ years’ experience in P&L Management

● 1+ years’ experience in digital business marketing

● Supervision of at least 15 employees

● Strong interpersonal, organizational, communications and data analytic skills

● Ability to work as part of a team dynamic
